The photographs in the Featured Galleries were taken during a ten-day walk in England on the Dales Way, during May of 2008. Relatively flat for most of its eighty miles, the footpath is described as a good first for anyone considering a long-distance walk in England. For us the weather was excellent throughout and the landscape was vibrantly green and inviting. There were bluebells in shaded woods, lambs in the fields, ancient stone walls and buildings everywhere, and quiet rivers for company. I hope these galleries convey a bit of what we experienced.
